Opening a new origin can be a difficult decision for a European purchasing team. EU rules are demanding, each buyer has its own specifications, and finding qualified, dependable producers takes work. UNECE standards offer a useful baseline, but they cannot resolve every difference in production practice or testing method. This is where Eurasian Bridge comes in.
We bring European compliance expertise to producers and make less familiar origins accessible. We purchase and resell the goods, financing the operation and carrying its financial risk through delivery and the buyer’s inspection.
At each supplier site, a Eurasian Bridge team member is present throughout production, checking each order from start to finish so deviations can be addressed before shipment.

Certified producers
We select production sites certified to FSSC 22000, IFS Food or BRCGS Food Safety.
Specifications at origin
We translate the buyer’s brief into production requirements, applying relevant UNECE standards and EU requirements for the product.
Production follow-up
Our teams follow each production run and carry out regular random checks on the goods.
Controlled sampling
Our teams take and seal samples using the EU method applicable to the product and requested analyses. For mycotoxins in dried fruit, this includes Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2782.
European laboratory analysis
Samples from every lot are analysed by our partner, TLR International Laboratories, an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory. For each lot, the testing scope covers applicable legal requirements and the buyer’s specifications. We review the results before shipment.
Protected delivery
After release, we arrange transport with our international logistics partner, Gebrüder Weiss. Unless the product requires otherwise, we use temperature-controlled reefer transport throughout the journey to protect its quality.
